Ten words that can save the lost. Like a compass in the hands of a well-trained woodsman, these ten words can guide you out of the wilderness and into the kingdom of salvation. Now you may be wondering how this can be true. How can one verse do so much? Because it forces you to make a decisiotuon. Verses like Psalm 119:60 forces one to ask themselves, “Am I going to follow the Lord’s plan for me, or not.” We also note that the psalmist is speaking in the first person (using “I will”). Meaning that the example is being set, the psalmist is taking a stance and saying that they will stand for God, follow God’s commands, and place their faith and trust in the one who saves. Not only is this the path to take, but it must also happen “Now.” The words “hasten without delay” is saying that there is no time to waste. We must make this decision now, change from our old ways and focus on the righteous path laid out by Christ Jesus at the cross. So yes, verses like today’s can make big changes in your life. Because a verse like this leaves no room to meander in the void between following God or not. Satan wants us all to believe that this place of limbo is a safe place because you’re not doing any real harm. But we need to remember that when we sit on the fence between following God or not, Satan owns the fence. So today, use these ùten simple words to find your way to God. Say this verse with the same tenacity as the psalmist, without delay, and align yourself with the one true and holy God.
