In the event of an emergency that prevents California EC Sunday Services from being held:

• If an emergency (such as a power outage, flooding, or other unforeseen circumstances) makes the church building unusable for regularly scheduled worship services, the plan will be to meet for worship at Bridgeville EC Church, located at 5971 Division Hwy Narvon, PA 19543 at 10:30am. If Bridgeville EC is also unavailable, the church board will determine an alternate plan and communicate it as soon as possible.
• The Lead Pastor, in consultation with the Official Board President (or next available officer), will make the decision to implement the emergency worship plan within 30 minutes of the event which makes California EC Church unable to be used for worship.
• Once a decision has been made to implement the plan, the Lead Pastor or Official Board President will designate 2-3 other Official Board members who will be responsible for calling through the church directory to make the congregation aware of the change. A message will also be sent out via the prayer chain and posted on the church’s Facebook page and website.
• The Lead Pastor or Official Board President will designate an Official Board member who will remain in the parking lot of California EC Church and direct anyone who arrives to the alternate worship location of Bridgeville EC Church.
• If this plan is implemented, we recognize that some with service responsibilities (sound, children’s church, ushers, etc.) may change. If that's the case, we will do coordinate those responsibilities in a timely manner.
