Youth Ministry at California EC Church
Youth Ministry at California EC Church is for 7th-12th grade students. We meet every before the worship service at 9:15am on Sundays. California EC Youth is designed to help students know and follow Jesus through intentional community, exciting environments and events, impactful worship, biblical messages, and engaging small groups. We get excited when we see students realize their immense worth as people created in God’s image, when they feel loved and seen by their peers and caring adults, or when they understand and live out their purpose as followers of Jesus.
What to Expect
Youth Programs: Sunday School 9:15am
If you’re coming for the first time, we want to get to know you! When you arrive you can come right into the sanctuary and we will get some basic information from you so we can follow up with you later and keep in touch.
Students usually begin gathering around 9:15 AM, arriving through the side entrance at California EC. Students then head to the front of the sanctuary and sit on the steps to recap their weeks before beginning the main teaching for that morning. Teaching varies, sometimes going through a Christian book, a book of the Bible, or through a podcast series. We strive to make sure what the youth are learning is relevant and applicable to their lvies.
