Home Worship Service
February 22, 2026
Welcome! We're so glad you found your way here to use the Worship at Home guide. We always understand if you can't make it to church - whether it's sickness, weather, or anything else. Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV) tells us:
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
Whoever the spiritual leader of your household is, lead your family through this guide by simply scrolling down through it, pausing at each section of the Order of Worship, just as we would in-person. We pray you will be blessed through this and we thank you for worshipping with us in this way. We hope to see you soon!

The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
Offering
Locate a bowl or a plate from your home and pass it around among anyone present. While it may take some time for that collection to make it to church, pray that God would bless the finances of our church - that we may use all that we have and all that we have for Him and His glory.
Worship Song #1 - "One Thing Remains"
Verse 1
Higher than the mountains that I face
Stronger than the power of the grave
Constant in the trial and the change
One thing remains
One thing remains
Interlude
Your love Your love Your love will never change
Chorus
Your love never fails
It never gives up
Never runs out on me
(REPEAT)
Your love
Verse 2
On and on and on and on it goes
It overwhelms and satisfies my soul
And I never ever have to be afraid
One thing remains
One thing remains
Bridge
In death in life I'm confident and
Cover'd by the power of Your great love
My debt is paid there's nothing that
Can separate my heart from Your great love
(REPEAT)
Ending
Your love
Jr. Church
At this time children would normally be dismissed for Jr. Church. You are welcome to keep any children with you for the remainder of the service, or to use a lesson from the Gospel Project found here: https://gospelproject.lifeway.com/
Feel free to hand them a coloring sheet or something to keep them busy during the service.
Message - "Ministry and Hostility"
If you would like, a printable notes sheet can be found here: https://www.californiaecchurch.com/bulletin-outline/ Otherwise, feel free to take notes in a notebook of your choice
Worship Song #2 - "Don't Fight Alone"
Verse 1
There are angel armies I have yet to see
I believe there are prayers
I've never heard surrounding me
There's a strength that's not my own
When I am weak
So I have no doubt that He stands with me
I have no doubt that He stands with me
Chorus 1
I know that I don’t fight alone
I know that I don’t fight alone
This is His promise yeah this is my (our) hope
No matter what it looks like
I don’t fight alone
Verse 2
There’s a cloud of witnesses they cheer for me
The giants of the faith they cheer for me
There’s a Father’s love like I could never dream
So many reasons that I believe
So many reasons that I believe
Bridge
The God of our Fathers
Was faithful to them
Over and over
They trusted in Him
We stand on their shoulders
And carry the flame
He’s been faithful before
He’ll be faithful again
Tag
He’s been faithful before
He’ll be faithful again
He’s been faithful before
He’ll be faithful again
So whatever may come
We'll sing it out
Chorus 2
God will not leave us alone
God will not leave us alone
This is His promise yeah this is our hope
No matter what it looks like
We don’t fight alone
Closing
At this point, the service would normally conclude. Because of the "small group" nature of worshipping at home, it is fitting to enter into a time of discussion. Please take some time to answer the following questions as a group:
1. Where have you seen, or personally experienced, hostility coming from inside of the Church? What effect did that have on you or others?
2. How have you experienced hostility from outside of the Church that impacted your ability or desire to share the Gospel? What was your reaction to that?
