We look forward to worshipping with you during this special Holy Week! This is a wonderful opportunity to come together, even while we are apart, to praise the name of Jesus. Our prayer is that through these services you and your family would grow closer to God and experience his wonderful love for you!
If this were a typical Holy Week, we’d have three services (Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter). However, due to the current health pandemic, our plans have had to shift in a different direction. There are some elements that will continue during this time and others that we look to save for a time when the body of Christ gathers physically again. And although others may say, “just do it”, there is something to be said for waiting and longing.
Yes, it’s true that we are the church. That’s what matters most. But it’s becoming ever more clear that the “going” part is a very close second essential element of being the church. Going to church matters – A LOT! Gathering as the church is something we may have taken for granted until now.
No, we haven’t ceased to be the church and we’ll never ever cease to be the church. The church may, in fact, be stronger now because of what we have endured together! But in the here and now it is hard to ignore the fact that we miss the gathering. Oh, what a celebration it will be when we’re gathered again! And so…
Join us for TWO worship services this week:
– Good Friday beginning at 5PM – join from your home along with others as we worship Jesus and rest in the joy of his suffering for you.
– Easter Sunday beginning at 10:30AM – a celebration like never before! Let our praises ring from the couch, to the porch, and beyond as we gather for this wonderful event!
*Feel free to share this post and our video links so that others may join us in with you as we worship our risen savior Jesus Christ!
